Come Back To Me

Come back to me

Come back to me

Come back to me

As I fly high above the clouds

In metal birds that chase the sun

I hear your voice across the sea

Whispering words that set me free

I fly above the countless souls

That search their lives for what I’ve found

They wake me in the dead of night

Surprised to find the morning light

I cannot call; you’re just to bed

I always have you in my head

Come back to me

Come back to me

Come back to me

Come back to me

Come back to me

Big rubber tires kiss the ground

These giant birds make dreadful sounds

The wind is cold the streets are wet

I hear the words I can’t forget

The world is full of things to see

Art and culture history

It’s good to see these things are real

I don’t believe what I can’t feel

In great museums and storied halls

I only feel your soulful calls

They wake me in the dead of night

Surprised to find the morning light

I cannot call; you’re just to bed

I always have you in my head

Come back to me

Come back to me

Come back to me

Come back to me

Come back to me
